With Valentines Day approaching, many are wondering what fun things
they can do with the kids. Sheeze.com shares some great Valentines Day ideas for crafts, games, and recipes.
APRIL FOOL! Okay, so its not April Fools Day yet. Im just getting ready gotta practice. I have so many pranks to pull on my family and friends that I cant decide which ones to do. Ill tell you some so that you can be getting ready for that foolish day. (You arent mad at me, are you?)
If you are the one preparing the Christmas meal this year - I recommend you start it 3 to 4 days ahead. Many holiday dishes can be made ahead of time and if you do one a day - all you need to make on the day itself might be the meat (Turkey). I usually cook a mashed potato casserole a day ahead. Cranberry sauce 2 days ahead. Stuffing can be prepared 3 days ahead. Dessert - 4 days ahead. The key is to choose the types of recipes that KEEP...and then list out the days of the week and what you will make each day.

A piece of watercolor paper, watercolor paints, a dark marker, the kids, and this poem:
Footprints
“Walk a little slower daddy,” said a child so small.
I’m following in your footsteps and I don’t want to fall.
Sometimes your steps are very fast,
Sometimes they’re hard to see,
So walk a little slower, daddy,
For, you are leading me.
