Save those empty baby juice bottles...the small 4oz plastic ones with a screw on cap. They work great for packing salad dressing, veggie dip, ketchup, vinegar, etc. in a lunch bag. The cap screws on tight so you have no spills. These work better than containers I've paid more money for.

One of the few things my almost 3-year-old will eat is baby carrots and Kraft/Seven Seas Green Goddess brand dressing as a dip. She will actually eat just about any veggie as long as she has this dressing. I love it myself- it's very refreshing, like cucumber Ranch :)
Submitted by:Often - in a typical Mediterranean fashion - we will invite our dinner guests over for a two o'clock meal...instead of a usual six or seven o'clock feast. This is much better with young children because later at night they tend to be more tired and harder to handle. An afternoon meal can replace lunch and dinner and allow your guests to maybe stay a little bit longer but without having to try to put the children down to sleep or leaving after only a couple of hours.
