Just for Moms

Set expectations and follow through. Whether rewards or consequences. Be consistent

Wow... life has been speeding by! I can't believe it has now been 10 years since I started goofing around trying to learn how to build websites and ended up building MommyTips! During this "birthday month" celebration, I am enjoying looking back at some of the cool women I met through MommyTips who changed my life.

Tonight my hubby & I had an awesome date night at the press screening of the upcoming movie BABIES! If you haven’t seen the previews yet, BABIES is a documentary following one baby from 4 different countries (USA, Japan, Mongolia & Namibia) for the first year of their lives.  You might think… documentary… um – no thanks. BUT think twice! This film is really well put together and full of funny moments and heart captivating scenes.
Get some tips on HOW in the world you can make time for yourself. This is especially hard for new moms to learn.

I am so excited that I get to attend a screening of this movie next week! I first saw the preview months and months ago and have been so intrigued by it. Having spent time with women in villages of other countries myself, and seeing the BIG difference in how babies are raised across the world, I am really interested to see how these world differences are portrayed in the movie.
