Working Moms

For busy working moms, you need to save all the time and money you possibly can when you go grocery shopping! I keep a regular envelope on the fridge at all times, and during the week I jot down the groceries I need. Then, just before I go shopping, I tuck the coupons I'll be using inside the envelope, and off I go! I have my list and coupons all in one - thus saving time AND money!

I was always in such a rush to get dinner and cleaning and baths out of the way that I always felt stressed out. My children were always very "fussy" during this cooking and cleaning time which didn't help any of the stress. I decided to try something new.
Submitted by:KristiSave empty drink bottles with squirt tops such as the type sport drinks come in. Have one for each child. Use a permanent marker to write each kids name on one. Fill them with juice, koolaid, milk, etc. in the morning and keep in the fridge. Kids can get their own drinks from the fridge and there's no spills due to pouring. Kids put them back in fridge when they've had enough to drink. No more washing 50 cups a day!!! We also use these bottles when we go on picnics, cook-outs or to the beach. No more paper cups, no wasted drinks, and no kids waiting to be served a drink.
