The Body Book: It's A God Thing!
The transition from young girl to teenager makes the "tween" years a time of great change - especially in the body department! For all of the questions adolescence raises, The Body Book gives girls the scoop on everything from puberty and cramps to diet and exercise.Filled with fun magazine-type quizzes and imaginative activities, The Body Book not only offers accurate up-to-date information on personal issues that tween girls experience, but also shares it from a positive biblical perspective.
As my daughter is entering that tween phase of life where everything is CHANGING, we have found a FABULOUS series of books just for her to help understand and cope with this phase.
Nancy Rue has a series of books that deal with all these pre-teen issues. We first found her through the Body book which helps explain what in the world is going on. It turns out there are tons more books that have the quizzes and charts that girls love. The tone of these books make the girls feel they are hanging out with a friend. The books are all from a Christian perspective too!
I highly recommend these books for steering your girls through this phase of life.
Check them out.
