A great book for expecting parents to help you weed through the mountain of products out there and know WHAT you should buy.
Some advice from 2 moms about how to get your baby to sleep on its own.

Does your child ever get a diaper rash that just won't go away? Try this - recommended by my doctor's nurses - every OTHER time you change diapers, pour a 1/2 capfull of Mylanta on the rash area - it is cool (room temp) and dries up the rash. I have used it now for 3 months (my child is Extremely sensitive to everything) and it works wonders.

The best way to get your child to understand important concepts, food, drink, bath time, bed time, and potty time is to talk to them. My little girl surprises me by the things that she knows. Talking to your child/reading to your child is a great way to inform your child of the things she/he needs to know.

DEAR DR.PAUL: My four-year-old daughter has some bumps on her neck. I brought her to the doctor who told me they were lymph nodes and it was normal. I am still worried. Can these bumps or nodes be serious?
Q: * My 5 month-old moves her bowels approximately every three days, is this normal? * Is it normal for my 3 month-old to have bowel movements after every feeding? * My 3 month-old baby has had severe constipation for 2 days. She is in absolute agony when she tires to have a bowel movement. What can I give her to make things come back to normal?

I purchased my first piece of baby gear and it was like Christmas! It’s been 11 years since I had all these baby gadgets and they have changed SOOO much. My husband brought home the Graco Pack-n-Play and this thing is like all-in-one heaven.
